This Dip Primer Treated Garden Shed represents good value and is stylish enough for most gardens. The Shed can be supplied with Non-Tear Felt, Onduline sheeting, Box Profile Steel. The Shed comes with a Double Window which can be fitted either side.

Unlike some manufacturers, Ballyfree use white Tongue & Grooved Timber in the floor and roof of Primer coated shiplap sheds and in Pressure Treated Sheds we use Pressure Treated Tongue & Grooved timber in the floor & roof.

Rustic Shed Characteristics

  • Weatherproof, not waterproof:
    These sheds can withstand general weather exposure (wind, light rain, etc.) but will not keep out all moisture during prolonged wet conditions.
  • Timber may become damp:
    Continuous rain can cause the timber to absorb moisture, making interior walls feel damp. This is normal and not harmful to the wood — it will dry naturally when the weather improves.

  • Suitable items:
    • Garden tools
    • Lawnmowers
    • Wheelbarrows
    • Paint and similar goods that tolerate mild dampness
  • Not suitable for:
    • Fabrics
    • Soft furnishings
    • Items sensitive to damp or humidity

🛡️ Maintenance Tip

  • Apply a sealant (e.g., Thompson’s Water Seal) after installation to improve water resistance.
  • Be aware: Sealant may affect future painting, as it can prevent paint from adhering properly.
